Your Session

It is my deepest wish that you find your treatment with me nourishing and uplifting. I will create a safe, calming environment in which you can relax and talk freely about your reasons for visiting me.

Together we will undertake a short consultation whereby I will ask you about your health, lifestyle and general well being. You will remain fully clothed but take off any jewellery and remove shoes for comfort. Even if you are coming to me for a specific injury you will still receive a full body treatment working from head to toe.

I will place my hands on or above you and the Reiki energy is then channeled through me to you. You may feel warmth coming from my hands. I will generally remain quiet during the session as this is your time to relax and enjoy. However you may want to ask me questions, have the urge to laugh, cry or giggle. You may even fall asleep. It is important to know that there is no right or wrong reaction to reiki.

My thirst for spiritual knowledge is something that both defines me and gives me a sense of purpose. From a young age I have always wanted people to feel good about themselves after being in my company and it is from this point I felt my journey was to find the tools with which to help those people began.

I became a Reiki master/teacher in 2008 after 7 years as an apprentice practicing and understanding on a personal level everything I felt I needed in order to become a Reiki master. Every healing session I undertake is a joy and I feel honoured to have found a technique so nourishing on so many different levels.

Life on this planet can be challenging at times. I believe that in trying to attain the balance of a healthy mind, body and spirit you are honouring yourself and giving yourself the best possible chance of dealing with any challenges that may come your way on life’s journey.

I have undertaken foundation and introduction to counselling. For the past 8 years I have specialised in working with teenagers in an Educational Behavioural Development School.

I have been particularly in awe of the results I have seen from practicing Reiki on teenagers with autism, ADHD, tourettes and those who have issues with anger. I have used the Reiki healing technique on infants to the elderly, from the athletic to the dying. I believe the benefits of Reiki can touch all.

Reiki means universal life force energy.

Universal life force energy has many names in many different cultures. As an example in China it is called Ch’i in India it is called Prana and in Japan it is called Ki. Reiki is the divine consciousness that permeates all things. Without Ki there is no life. Every living thing radiates life force energy.

Reiki is a technique for stress reduction and relaxation that allows everyone to tap into an unlimited supply of this life force energy to improve health and enhance the quality of life.
